Eric Bahn
Eric Bahn is the Co-Founder of Hustle Fund, a venture capital firm known for its fast investment decisions and rapid capital deployment. Since its founding, Hustle Fund has invested in hundreds of early-stage startups. Through its angel investing program, Angel Squad, Eric works alongside a community of over 2,000 investors to support emerging founders. Prior to Hustle Fund, Eric spent five years as an active angel investor, making seed-stage investments in now-unicorn companies such as Boom Supersonic, NerdWallet (IPO in 2021), and Webflow. He also served as a Venture Partner and Entrepreneur in Residence at 500 Startups, where he mentored and supported early-stage entrepreneurs. Before becoming an investor, Eric spent more than a decade as a product leader and entrepreneur. At Instagram, he was a Product Manager responsible for launching the company’s first SMB ad platform, which generated over $500 million in revenue in its first year. He also played a key role in monetization at Facebook. As a founder, Eric built Beat The GMAT, a social network for MBA applicants, which grew to over 3 million users without raising external capital. The company was acquired by The Daily Mail in 2012, where Eric went on to serve as Director of Product Management. He also co-founded The Hustle, a media company for millennials that continues to serve over 1 million subscribers. Eric’s work has been featured in The New York Times, TIME Magazine, Axios, TechCrunch, and other major media outlets. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Eric holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stanford University, and launched his career in Silicon Valley.
