Born in Seattle in 1990, Kazsa is the Co-Founder and CEO of Zypsy, a San Francisco–based design studio. Zypsy partners with startups by providing branding and UI/UX design in exchange for equity—a unique “design capital” model. Under this strategy and its bold mission of delivering a “One Billion Delta” (a transformative $1B impact), the firm has supported the growth of around 25 startups backed by top-tier VCs such as Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital. Zypsy quickly became profitable thanks to the high quality of its work and results. Today, the company maintains long-term partnerships with over 20 companies and operates with a globally distributed team of about 40 top designers and engineers. In 2022, Zypsy raised approximately ¥450 million (around $3 million USD) from international investors to accelerate its global expansion and further amplify the value it creates through design. Before founding Zypsy, he held roles in growth marketing and product design at Tradecraft, and also interned at Mercari US.
